Probably. Leeds have 6 games left - 3 at home and 3 away. They are 1 point clear of 2nd placed West Brom and 6 clear of Brentford in 3rd, so they should automatically be favourites. They are undoubtedly the best team but promotion is still going to be difficult - why?
1) Brentford have a superior difference, making the gap essentially 5 points
2) Brentford have an easy run in, including Wigan who recently went into administration
3) Leeds have some tricky fixtures - away at Swansea, Blackburn and the high flying Derby. Furthermore, Leeds' home games are against teams fighting for relegation so will put their all in and defend heavily, a style Leeds frequently struggle against.
4) Bamford
Overall, if Leeds can score first and early, they will succeed as teams will have to challenge them directly. The fitness of Liam Cooper and Pablo Hernandez will be key. With Hernandez in the team, Leeds average 0.7 points more than without him and he has made a massive difference in their last 2 games coming off the bench following injury. I hope Leeds go up to the PL, the league needs them. Realistically I just want to become a 🐐🐐 on this website.
